The PNW MAC™’s goal is to remove barriers to engagement and accelerate defense innovation, serving as the center of gravity for the Pacific Northwest startup and venture communities, academia, and local and federal partners, to support the Department of Defense. Launching with Navy Tech Bridge, National Security Innovation Network (NSIN), Impact Washington and Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition (PNDC) support, this community will allow for both formal collaboration and the serendipitous innovation or “coffee pot collaboration” that comes from bringing people together.

Members will connect to the unique ecosystem of the Pacific Northwest. PNW MAC™ will work with industry conveners that have deep connections with traditional and potential DoD suppliers, and their supply chains. Beyond simply marketing to industry, the MAC™ will tap into a network of trusted advisors that can pull innovators to successfully support the DoDs important missions.

MAC™s programs will be responsive to the ecosystem’s needs and can include Pitch Days, Hackathons, Networking Programs, Precision Innovation Hunting, Technical Support for those new to supporting the DoD, Pitch and Repeat Programs for continuous improvement for innovators, Total Solution Match Making and more.
